SENER awards and prizes in Civil Works and Architecture:
“Puente de Alcántara” International Award 2010, awarded by San Benito de Alcántara Foundation, to the viaduct over the Contreras Dam. It is part of the project and technical assistance to project management contract for the Minglanilla – Villargordo del Cabriel stretch of the high speed Madrid – Castilla La Mancha – Valencian Community - Murcia region rail line built by SENER-GESTEC for Adif.
'Best Public Work of the Year 2009 Award' by the SENER project for the Renfe suburban rail station at Puerta del Sol in Madrid, awarded by the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos.
Light Rail Award 2008-Best New System, awarded by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) for the Oporto Metro project (Portugal).
Revit BIM Experience awarded by Autodesk to the consortium comprising Estudio Lamela and SENER, for its excellent use of the Revit Architecture solution for BIM on the Krakow Football Stadium project.
2007 Project Award from the Federation of Public Works of Alicante (FOPA) for the Alicante Port project.
Nominated by architecture studio Vidal y Asociados for the prestigious International Mies Van der Rohe award for the new terminal in Zaragoza Airport by SENER.
